The Building Section of the Community Development Department is responsible for regulating and controlling building within the District, while at the same time ensuring that health and safety regulations are maintained. It is the responsibility of the Building Department to provide information and assistance to others with regard to construction, technical information, and uniform standards and zoning as it relates to building.

The Building Section is also fully responsible for the issuance of building permits, demolition permits, moving of buildings and mobile homes, swimming pools, stoves, fireplaces, sprinkler systems, sign permits and business licenses.
